I expect to be eating my own dog food today, at least part of the time. The qt plugin appears ready for testing, but **be careful**. My main concern is that some paths through the code could result in your losing data. Please report any such losses immediately.
For today, I plan to test the plugin and to rewrite the redraw_now code so it only creates visible headlines (and their immediate children). Edward P.S. Done recently: - Focus issues appear to be resolved. - insert-headline puts the headline in edit mode. - In safe mode, Leo traps "dangerous" characters and sends them directly to the Qt text widget. Dangerous characters are characters that execute code in Leo's core that should use byte offsets but in fact use character offsets. Safe mode can only be eliminated when the next official release of PyQt happens (its been fix only in tar balls). However, the qt plugin could probably always use safe mode and nobody would notice :-) EKR --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "leo-editor" group.
