Kent does indeed have a claim to be Leo's chief strategist. For
example, it was he who pointed out the similarity of tnodes to the
until-then-mythical unit of shared subtrees. This was the essential
insight that allowed the shared-subtrees data structures debuted in
Leo 4.2.
However, I am regretting the title of this post. I don't want anyone
to worry about "who's number one" :-)
