On a walk recently, I wrote down the following question: QQQ How to hold open the space of "not knowing how to solve *big* problems" ? QQQ
I'm talking about the truly big problems, like how to end stupid wars (aren't all wars stupid?), how to create a sustainable society, how to protect the planet, how to reverse global warming. I won't call this off topic, because the same kind of question could apply to Leo: how to make Leo the default editor of most programmers. I don't have answers, but I do know that most people, including me, do not confront such questions well. We make jokes (have we figured out how to save the world yet?), we pretend we are helpless, we are generally resigned in a myriad of ways. Well, imo that is a truly stupid, gutless, thoughtless, you might even say evil response. And to repeat, I'm as "guilty" as anyone else. So the first step is to get fed up with the petty resignation :-) Edward --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "leo-editor" group.
