Don't know if Ville's thought includes this, but what would make search work well for me is to have various features to find a node or group of nodes, optionally including the headlines that satisfied various search criteria. Some background: I'm not using Leo atm, but if I did, it would be to include data from my askSam-like thing that I use to store all kinds of notes with multiple records per file. The search should find records (or parts of records) that satisfy the search criteria. Records (in Leo) would consist of headlines and nodes. (One top level headline with possibly multiple subsidiary headlines and nodes.) I try out Leo every once in a while. IIRC, Leo can find a single node meeting various search criteria, but I don't think it can find a group of nodes and headlines that (collectively) meet the search criteria. (For example, one phrase in one node combined with a word in a different node, and maybe another word in a headline, (or within x words of) all within the same record (i.e., under a top level (for any definition of top level) headline).
