The qt plugin is now at the point where Leo's unit tests are the only way to make significant progress (besides being the only way to demonstrate that everything works). Because day-to-day editing works (with the exceptions of a few relatively minor key-handling problems) the only way to find bugs (let alone fix them) is to run unit tests. For example, the failed unit tests for leoNodes.py lead, in a fairly direct way, to the realization that leoQtTree.full_redraw must call expandAllAncestors. The fix might have been a *long* time coming without those unit tests.
