1. If all agree to using Leo, then the work flow that we use on Leo
itself is good:

- A single, slowly-changing, "reference" .leo file containing @thin nodes.

- Individuals can edit their own personal copy of the reference .leo
file as they like, but only the reference .leo file gets committed,
and then only when @thin files are added or deleted.

2. If not everyone wants to use Leo, then @auto or @shadow is the way to go.
