I don't think the trunk is busted.

It may be that the nav_buttons plugin is broken, I don't use it.

Apart from a bug (in Ubuntu at least) preventing clicking of the [+]
part of the tree from expanding a node, the qt gui seems to be working
ok to me.

Might be a problem with the absence of an id, or things like qt / tk /
ImageTk / Scintilla not being installed?
