Rev 1264 fixes both problems.  I can confirm that the plugin loads
properly with the qt plugin enabled.  It should also work with the tk
plugin, though I haven't tested that.

As stated in the docstring, the plugin creates two new minibuffer
commands (*not* menu items)

Let me know if there are further problems.  This looks like it will be
a working vacation :-)
