I'm struggling with a config file bug, and opened a bug report for it,
which I then used as a thread for additional comments on the topic.

At the point where I located a misleading comment in a Leo file related
to the bug, the report was closed, the assumption being that my issue
was rooted in the misleading comment. The issue that prompted the
report was never addressed.

I think the lesson to draw from this is as follows;
 Keep bug reports simple and specific, avoid expanding the context,
 as doing so can lead to losing the initial focus.

I'll try again.
