I think a .bzr directory got put in the wrong place, maybe as the
result of doing
bzr init
instead of
bzr init-repository.
Anyway, things look like they are working again, after deleting
all .bzr directories and repositories.
It's time to merge the api-for-redraw branch into the trunk...
