Rev 1447 contains a few tweaks to the code.

In particular, leoQtGui.toUnicode now converts all non-unicode
arguments to unicode, rather than just plain string arguments. I hope
this helps: there is very little else that can be changed.

BTW, The docs at http://doc.trolltech.com/4.4/qclipboard.html mention
some support for various x11 clipboards, but the way I read the docs
indicates that by default everything should happen in the global
clipboard.

I don't have a middle-button mouse, so I can't say whether selecting
text with the middle button should make a difference.

Please let me know how the latest code works for you. I am pinning my
hopes on the change to g.app.gui.toUnicode.
