Thanks! That is exactly what I wanted to know. I had qtGui.py in the
second place in my list of enabled plugin. plugins_menu.py was in
first place so I assume that it was creating the tk gui.

Well, I was not asking you to add anything. I just wanted to know how
to use the settings file for set up a default gui. Now I know and I'm
happy. Thanks again.
