I mean ideally all the leo-meta-gui (as opposed to qt-gui or tk-qui) signatures should be the same, but shouldn't g.app.gui.guiName()=='null' under null gui? To stop plugins etc. trying other things that may fail? I also noticed there was a ....something.menu() received unexpected param. label somewhere, same pattern as the widget thing, but again, I think plugins should get better info. from g.app.gui.guiName() - probably they should refuse to load under null-gui.
