I think this is due to the new behavior added to handle command line opening of a named but not yet created leo file.
I use Console as my shell and have cmd.exe /k C:\PyDev\leo-editor\launchLeo.py --gui=qt --ipython I believe the program name is being added to this argv, "Console 141", and this is being interpreted by the need cli behavior as a request to open a leo file of that name.
