Hi Edward,

this morning I decided to investigate further into the problem, I
reported earlier this week.
(http://groups.google.com/group/leo-editor/browse_thread/thread/
8d2fe080d2813dd2)

My plan was to explicitely delete the bzr-snapshot, that I had beside
the Leo installation
created via Leo-4-6-b1.exe, de-install Leo-4.6b1 and retry with
Leo-4-6-b1.zip

When I tried to de-install Leo-4.6b1 I succeeded, but the program
reported that 5 directories
were not removed.

Three of the directories where

1) C:\Python26\Lib\site-packages\Leo-4-6-b1\leo\config
2) C:\Python26\Lib\site-packages\Leo-4-6-b1\leo\doc
3) C:\Python26\Lib\site-packages\Leo-4-6-b1\leo\plugins

where 'new' directories have been created by Leo, when executing a cmd
like

Help -> Open LeoDocs.leo or
Help -> Open LeoPlugins.leo

These 'empty' directories are

a) .leoSettings.leo_db
b) .leoDocs.leo_db
c) .leo_shadow
d) .leoPluginsRef.leo_db

which I had to delete manually, to ensure that whatever I'll
experience now
with Leo-4-6-b1.zip, will be related only to the ZIP-based
installation.

I'll report later in the day, about the findings. - However I thought
these additional
problems found are serious enough to be fixed as quickly as possible,
in order to
give more confidence in Leo, especially for new users.

Kind regards,

Viktor
