This works for me on xp and ubuntu.
Please run Leo from a console window. Do you see any unusual errors?
Please make the following changes in g.toUnicode:
- Just after the def line, add the line:
reportErrors = True
Recreate the bug. Do you see any message?
You might also try setting sys.setdefaultencoding('utf-8') in
sitecustomize.py. Does that make a difference?
