Ok, I guess my assumption is still with vim.py, and I was thinking
of how one would simulate the dclick which summons the vim.py plugin.

Cool, I'll wait :-]

That's more interesting to me anyway, sort of the
chunk/slurp issue realized; view in Leo to see structure in a
hierarchal fashion, Vim for the file overview.
