I'd like to use the Vim emulation, but was not able to get it working the last time I tried it in the Qt gui. Perhaps it is working and easier to install and activate now?
I've gone over Qt's doc looking for block cursor support, they don't seem to have any. The various cursors in Vim, (block, bar, half block), are important mode/submode visual clues and ideally would be part of a rich Vim emulation. Darn whipersnapers just don't grok the 'block', sigh. A tighter Vim(with python scripting enabled), -- Leo integration, as mention elsewhere, is probably the best we can do until embedding Vim as the editor, maybe Vim version 12, ;-)?
