Hello! I'm using Leo 4.6.2 on Ubuntu 9.04 Netbook Remix under WindowMaker. I'm encountering a slight GUI glitch, however, which makes it somewhat challenging to use Leo. Specifically, there seems to be some sort of problem with rendering the outline pane: When I select a node in the outline pane, then select another node in the outline pane, there is some unusual highlighting behaviour (I'd be happy to furnish screenshots.); repro steps:
- Create an outline with several nodes. - Select one of the nodes from the outline pane. - Press the appropriate arrow key to move to a sibling node. - The previously-selected node's text is totally unreadable (The text and the area that was previously highlighted are both black) The behaviour differs slightly when I run Leo under different window managers: under XMonad, the areas that appeared black under WindowMaker are in the (light-blue) highlight colour with black text. I've the following versions of (probably-)relevant software installed: - python 2.6.2-0ubuntu1 - python-qt4 4.4.4-2ubuntu6 - libqtgui4 4.5.0-ubuntu4.1 - libqtcore4 4.5.0-ubuntu4.1 Is this a known bug? -or- ... an installation problem on my end? -and- Is there a workaround that you could suggest (I'm, temporarily, able to use Leo by forcing the window to fully refresh, e.g., by switching to another workspace and then back, but this, obviously, is less than ideal!)? Happy to provide any additional information about my setup! Oh, I've also tried SSH'ing from my Windows machine (via Cygwin), and the behaviour does *not* occur (Which suggests that it might be some problem arising from the interaction of some part of Leo + associated libraries and my window manager?). Thanks for any advice that you have regarding this problem. //cheers ~K.D.P.Ross --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "leo-editor" group.
