Later today I hope to up an important cleanup to Leo's unicode
handling. In most cases, this will eliminate the dreaded 'encoding'
param from g.toUnicode and several other methods. This should
complete a project first suggested by Ville.

I'll tag the rev before the big change so that people can easily back
up if there are problems. I don't expect such problems, but one never
knows: it's impossible to test the code in all environments and with
all encodings. Despite potential problems, I think it is essential to
do this before b2.

Before upping the new code, I'll make sure pylint passes all files in
Leo's core and all the relevant gui files. Getting pylint to work on
Windows 7 has been "interesting", but not interesting enough to
discuss here :-)
