I have a launcher on my desktop panel that pops up a new stickynote linked to a node in the running leo using Ville's leo server code. So I decided to use that instead of the main leo window itself to test the above... so... a) there's a bug in stickynote regarding the transfer of unicode to/from the node/note-window, causing all the non-ascii to get changed to ??? I will look into this. b) any problems with me committing my changes to stickynote that add an encrypted node option? I think the codes fine, but I don't like to shove odd features into other people's work. c) Working in the main leo window I see the problem exactly as Edward described. d) I downloaded and compiles the C++ qt 4 text editor 'TEA', and did not see the problem there. e) we need a trivial PyQt QTextEdit app to test in, but I'm hungry :-) Cheers -Terry -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "leo-editor" group.
