Leo 4.7 b2 contains some unicode problem that must be fixed asap. I plan a b3 release tomorrow or Monday. Rev 2811 contains the start of a fix. Please test it and report any problems immediately.
Edward P.S. The fix involves setting g.app.defaultEncoding to 'utf-8' always. More dubiously, the encoding used to compute standard directory names during startup is also always 'utf-8', regardless of platform. Previously, the encoding for Windows was 'mbcs'.
