Yesterday Leo passed an important milestone: all files in leo/core and leo/external and all plugins in the tkPass and passList lists passed 2to3. I suffered a data reversion yesterday. Leo properly warned me about it, but this was troubling. So it's time to implement the data- recovery scheme that Gil and I hashed out. The code will be simple: at the point where Leo's read code warns of a clone battle, the atFile read code will save the competing data in a list, say c.cloneConflictList. Later, if this list exists, the .leo file read code will create a node called "Recovered nodes" as the last top-level child. It should be easy enough to test this scheme thoroughly. I expect to complete all essential work for rc1 today, including the data recovery scheme. I'll be busy: there are a lot of details still to handle. I plan to release rc1 on Saturday or Sunday, depending on developments. Edward -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "leo-editor" group.
