If you happen to use deb-based distro, the deb is the recommended approach. Another recommended approach is just using launchLeo.py. Other ways may or may not work, depending on whether the stars are right. (I'm planning to have a computer with opensuse/fedora around soon, perhaps I'll get around to providing an rpm as well). -- Ville M.
