Rev 3156 of the trunk contains the grand merge of the new-sentinels branch into the trunk.
The crucial round-trip tests pass with all files in leoPy.leo and leoGuiPlugins.leo. As noted below, some unit tests fail, but that does not concern me. Please report *any* new problem with the trunk immediately, especially those that are likely related to Leo's sentinels. Imo, the new sentinels are a big step forward with Leo, and will be well worth any temporary problems. Indeed, there is nothing but pure joy in the comparison with the old way. Several times in the last few days I have opened external files just for the fun of seeing how clean they are compared with the old. Edward P.S. Some minor notes: 1. Some expected unit tests fail, they can be dealt with at our leisure. In particular, I used the trunks copy of unitTest.leo, thereby reverting some unit tests that should be disabled. 2. I used the latest leoTangle.py from the trunk, but re re-formatted some @doc parts. 3. leoProjects.txt contains only the notes from the new-sentinels branch. I may want to restore some previous version of leoProjects.txt. The clones will likely break, but I want at least some minimal notes for use in documentation. 3. leoDocs.leo should be as before. 4. I have *not* as yet converted sentinels in plugins files. I'll probably do this soon, simply by rewriting them. But there is no great rush: make any change to a plugin will automatically cause it to be converted to new sentinels.
