It might have a "coords_of([image])" function which could be used to adjust the 
ends of an arrow drawn in SVG.  Which would be cool, but over the top.

I'm sure it would be much simpler to just use a format like SVG with links to 
the screen shot bitmaps, so that when the bitmaps are updated you can just 
review and edit as needed the placement of markers in the SVG file (using 
Inkscape).  You'd need visual inspection to get the cleanest layout of arrows 
and numbers etc. anyway.
