Hi all,
Now that I'm retaking Leo and my old outlines I would like to point this
url:
http://www.literatureandlatte.com/scrivener.html
As a non programmer I found Leo really interesting for a lot of things
and now that we have the qt interface and plugins Is easy to imagine
scenarios where we could get/net similar interfaces as Scrivener. For
example we could drag and drop an image to an outline and get this image
as a child of the present node with an icon to represent that the
content is an image and the classical headline @image <location>. If we
click on that node then the body panel should show the image. We could
split the body pane to see several views of the same data (say the html
view and the rst code) or add tabs to see more info in a not obtrusive
way. I thing that the interface experience that Songbird uses to add
frames to the interface would be a nice addition to the Leo using
experience.
As you can see this are ideas from the non-technical user point of view.
I think that the deconstructivist approach of Leo to computer
interaction is something that can be used for a wide amount of computer
users (almost any one and is one of the big Ahas of Leo yet to be explored).
Cheers,
Offray
