I definitely agree - unless/until you know about the colours, they are
invisible. I'd go as far as to say 'very pale pink' and 'very pale
blue'. On LCD monitors it also depends on the angle you are at to the
screen. (my colour vision is good ;-).

A few typos I noticed:

slide 5: could do with the same arrow as slide7
slide 6: 'Alt-T puts foucs' -> focus
slide 7: 'one again' -> 'once again'
    if a node is no longer 'dirty', what is it - clean?
slide 13: 'ctrl-z' (lower-case), but elsewhere 'ctrl-H' (upper-case).
Stick with upper case for consistency?
