Installation "problems" - First time install following current slideshow: (WinXP) I wanted to try and find how to change the *very* light pink/light blue colors referenced in Slide2+3 of "Leo Basics Step By Step Note: per ColorMania they are #F2FDFF and #FDF5F5 - I guess I need to tune both my monitors - sure looks like #FFFFFF - white to me O:-)

Summary Install problems::
(1) No reference to PyQt in Installer slides.
(2) Installer doesn't honor actual Python version installed. (Thinks its Python26 not Python27)
(3) After best attempts can't get Leo to recognize PyQt
- Is it significant that PyQt installer wants to install at::
D:\Lang\Python27\Lib\site-packages\PyQt4
- but (per a registry search) tk appears to have been installed by the Python installer one level up at:
D:\Lang\Python27\Lib\lib-tk\

*** remainder are notes made while installing *** probably not relevant
Python page suggests either Python27 or Python31 (I already had Python25 and Python26 - though essentially unused) I first installed Python31 - setting as default per installer, then installed Python27 - also setting it as default (ie. to override Python31 choice)

Now installed Leo: LeoSetup-4.7.1-final.exe
Installer said "Found Python at D:\Lang\Python26\" (s/b Python27 ?) and suggested location:
D:\Lang\Python27\Lib\site-packages\Leo-4.7.1-final

Instead I put it at D:\Lang\Leo\Leo-4.7.1-final

No mention of PyQt in the installer slides for Windows?
per Matt and his description of "site package" in http://groups.google.com/group/leo-editor/browse_thread/thread/add6242d6f4fc476/d5e62fa67bcdaaeb?lnk=gst&q=install+qt#d5e62fa67bcdaaeb <http://groups.google.com/group/leo-editor/browse_thread/thread/add6242d6f4fc476/d5e62fa67bcdaaeb?lnk=gst&q=install+qt#d5e62fa67bcdaaeb>

- I put a junction from D:\Lang\Leo\Leo-4.7.1-final to D:\Lang\Python27\Lib\site-packages\Leo-4.7.1-final - installed PyQt first to D:\Lang\PyQt\PyQt27 but running "launchLeo.py" runs the Python27 (GOOD) but still doesn't find PyQt and says PyQt not installed - reverting to Tk UI so I reinstalled PyQt to the "default" location:
D:\Lang\Python27\Lib\site-packages\PyQt4

Now that I've create the junction for Leo-4.7.1-final trying to execute "launchLeo.py" now stalls
Instead run it from the junction link in ...\site packages\...
I still does not recognize PyQt
*** isPython3: False

The link points to python download, not Leo download page:
Fixed on the trunk and on Leo's web site.
