The latest trunk contains several simplifications and improvements to how Leo handle's @url nodes.
The new rule is simple: if the body text contains any text the first line of the body text is taken to be the url. There is no longer any need to put '--' in the headline. More importantly, you can put anything you like in the body text following the first line. Other url's, notes, even .. graphics:: directives for the viewrendered plugin. These improvements allow Leo to be what it should have been a long time ago: the world's best organizer of url's. My typical usage is:: @url fizbatz: short description of fizbatz (headline) http://fizbatz.org (body text) @language rest Why I care about fizbatz.
