Rebecca and I will be in Florida until the new year. We will be leaving tomorrow, so I'll be mostly packing today.
I'll be working regularly while in Florida, but it will likely be several days before I start work again. It does look like there will be a 4.8.1 release, although I am not convinced that the reported install problems are really a problem with the code base... As noted in another thread, the trunk will contain all bug fixes and small improvements. A branch will contain the difficult vim bindings work.
