I copied
@settings-->Colors-->Syntax colors & options-->Options for jEdit
colorer-->Default colors, used if no language-specific color are in effect
to
@settings-->Colors-->Syntax colors & options-->Options for jEdit
colorer-->Language-specific colors-->python
and made my modifications, and it's working! Thank you!
