Just a quick note to say, as a brand-newbie to Leo, I stumbled over this too. I've never been presented with such a potentially useful part of a UI (e.g., re-based search-n-replace) and been completely clueless about how to use the controls. Had no idea it was simply broken.
My guess is that most new users will think the UI elements are where the operation should be driven from (rather than simply reflect the state typed in a more cryptic -- or at least less-familiar form -- elsewhere). Anyway, glad to know the functionality is available via commands in the mini-buffer window. - Tony -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "leo-editor" group.
