(FYI: I just bricked my laptop this evening -- I think I turned it off
in the middle of a firmware burn.  Hope it's just the old overheating,
poorly seated chip issue I had in the past, and it will come back to
life like it did once in the past.  But it doesn't look good. So won't
be able to test for you. :-( )
