I don't know what features you look for in contact management - I do keep mine in a Leo outline, but it's not something I use very heavily. For calendar stuff I have a mashup between Leo and remind, with a web page for viewing the calendar. And a button in my mail reader (claws-mail) to copy messages from which I need to make calendar items to a folder for importing into remind via Leo. http://www.roaringpenguin.com/products/remind Remind handles generating the webpage and date manipulation stuff, as well as popping up meeting reminders.
