Well, I'd agree on that leo is perfectly convenient on projects still running - giving the opportunity to shovel around blocks of code in a very intuitive way, keeping the notes closely attached - though I most oftenly find myself in a situation where the actual code is not even close as important as the documentation is. These projects are meant to be closed down sometime as the code shall not be used in any way but just giving proof of concept for the algorithmic approach then to be described in the documentation. So yes, this is probably a very rarely found way of programming, but it's just the way I need it most often. So for my purposes cweb is still kind of the measure of all things.
