A question/sentiment I echo, and I do know a small bit about python. A quick re-read of the Scripting Leo with Python chapter (http://webpages.charter.net/edreamleo/scripting.html) shows me that I do understand sections of what's written there, in broad strokes mind you. I'm still sitting here wondering how I'd make use of it. Maybe it just doesn't apply to what I do right now. Most of the time I'm thinking about how do I use Leo to build scripts to help me manipulate things outside of Leo. I'm certainly intrigued with the concept of searching instead of linking, especially in conjunction with bookmarks or whatever to multiple leo files. For example would we then be using "@search viewrendered" instead of "@url ./path/to/leo/plugins/viewrendered.py", or more along the lines of 'g.getScript.search("viewrendered")'? -- -matt -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "leo-editor" group.
