Too risky, imo.  My present plan:

1. create a trunk2 branch from your  leo_test branch, merged with the
latest trunk code.

2. Change "development focus" to trunk2.

3. Leave trunk around indefinitely.

This is safe: the trunk branch will always be around should we need to
back out of the trunk2 work.  We can test trunk2 as much as we like.

The only remaining question is whether  bzr pull lp:leo-editor will
use the trunk2 branch once we change the development focus.d

I just created the trunk2 branch.  I'll make it the focus soon.
