Discovery: IPython can/does hijack qt/tk app loops (!) Options ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- so I am posting it here to continue the discussion. One of the things that comes along with ipython 0.11 and pyzmq is an interactive ipython window inside of Microsoft Visual Studio. One can actually get a free version of MVS (the so-called integrated shell) that runs cpython and iron python along with the ipython option. I think these types of capabilities will pull people to 0.11 so it would be a good idea to try to get that to work to preserve the very nice work you and Ville did. I've used the bridge quite a bit, but I may set it aside for now in order to move forward with the more recent ipython shell. It would be great If a bridge solution could be found by running leo from ipython. Also, ipython 0.11 also comes with a useful qt based console. rh -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "leo-editor" group.
