easy_install Whoosh

Sorry for offtopic, may ask why are you using easy_install? Is it a developed
habit or you have any particular reasons for installing third party python
software this way? I am asking because I keep hearing good things about pip
(though I've never started to use it yet, when I need a third party python
thing, I usually build a package and install it using the package manager of my
Linux distro).
