It seems to appear more often with Python 3k, though I believe I have
seen this problem with Python 2k.

It is now clear why the find command "discloses" this bug more often
than simply selecting a new node: the call to w.see (somewhere) will
cause the found line to scroll to the last line, and I suppose somehow
the clipping region then gets set improperly.
