The people at Next Day Video uploaded a bunch of videos of the talks at this year's PyOhio conference, many thanks to them, they do a great job and just did this as a service to the python community. The video turned out pretty good, although I'm sure my former english teachers would be cringing with the amount of "ah's" that crept in during the first part of the presentation.
I'd worked until three in the morning, got a few hours of sleep and then got up for the two hour drive to Columbus from Cleveland, so I was a little fried during the presentation, though that might have helped with nerves a bit and smoothed out the talk. I found that practicing the talk lead to a lot of rephrasing of the points I was expanding on as I struggled to come up with language that got things across, they came out different each time I practiced and I was worried that would happen during the talk and eat up all the time. Also pay no attention to the amount of clutter off in the background of some of the photos, housekeeping has gone down hill a bit after losing my wife to cancer at the end of last year. As I said the video is up on youtube, in the nextdayvideo channel so find it there, if the link here does not work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgJ89ekGj-s&feature=plcp Tom -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "leo-editor" group.
