To see the unwanted scrolling, scroll with the scrollwheel and then do Ctrl-H. This is a hard problem to solve. The reason that using onSliderChanged doesn't work is that, Doh!, the slider changes when changing nodes. It might be possible to lock out onSliderChanged when changing nodes, but I won't be able to any more programing until Monday.
