I'm contemplating adding markdown rendering to viewrendered. I use
github daily for personal projects, and both my blog and in-progress
website redesign use markdown for content. I think having a preview
pane that can render markdown would be handy.
Would anyone else be interested in this? I was going to plug the
Markdown module (http://packages.python.org/Markdown/) into
viewrendered. It shouldn't be too difficult, because viewrendered
already renders rst by converting it to html first, so this would just
be an additional update method and dictionary binding, I think.
Anyways, if anyone else thinks this would be handy, I would be glad to
start hacking it together. Plus, it'd give me a bit of experience with
bzr and launchpad, neither of which I've ever used before.
Let me know if you're interested, or have any other suggestions.
