Surely rst docs. should be readable is they're displayed in <pre>
format.  Wouldn't it be better to have vr test for docutils and display
docs in <pre> formatted plain text if docutils isn't available?
Perhaps with a line at the top like

  (for better looking docs install the docutils python package)
