Leo now formats help messages inside <pre> blocks if docutils is not available. Using <pre> as a fallback is much simpler, and looks good. Not distributing docutils with Leo will simplify future maintenance of Leo, and avoids increasing the size of Leo's distro.
The attempt to create a common code base for docutils failed because of difficult unicode and testing issues. In the last week I've learned about 2to3, docutils, unicode, six and python-modernize. I've even written two new 2to3 fixes. On balance, though, this project was a very bad idea. Next, I'll attempt to fix undo in headlines :-) Edward -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "leo-editor" group.
