Hi,

I discovered this week that I can open multiples body panes. Very cool feature since sometimes I am editing a node while comparing it to another, so having them side by side is great.

------------------------------

A funny behaviour with this feature though:

1) I open Leo (one body pane is already there)
2) Without clicking on the tree I open another body pane using Add-Editor from the menu "Cmds" 3) This second body pane works fine, switching content according with the node selected in the tree 4) The first body pane however does not change content when a different node is selected in the tree.

In this situation, the header in the two body panes is somewhat different:
- the first body pane (the one that does not change) has a header with full black colour font - the second body pane (the one that changes ok) has a header that is in light grey colour.

The editor with focus is the one that changes. You can change focus by clicking into the other editor, before changing the node in the outline. Unless you've already tried that...
No for the interesting part:
If I close Leo and follow the steps again, but this time clicking on a node in the tree before executing Add-Editor, then both panes change content synchronised with the tree.
Is this an intended behaviour?

No idea about this one, but I'd suspect not.

If I try to do the same without closing Leo before the second test then I just get a blue filled-box instead of the header in the first body pane. And it does not change content.

Hope this is clear enough.

Thanks for any help,

Daniel

I searched the group for some similar topic but could not find anything appropriate. If this topic has already been discussed somewhere else, I apologise.

Hope this helps,
