I am going to "institutionalize" this Aha by changing p.deletePositionsInList to c.deletePositionsInList, and similarly for deleteUnvisitedNodes. This will, intentionally, cause all previous calls to these method to fail, emphasizing that the old way of thinking was hopeless. If one of your scripts uses either method you will be no-so-subtly reminded to rethink what your script is doing. I won't push anything until I have a solid unit test in place for the new c.deleteUnvisitedNodes, which Leo's read logic uses to create so-called "resurrected" nodes.
