Oops: I have to mention that Leo's binary installer should now set associations automatically, now that the bug in Leo's NSIS script has been fixed. The docs now start with the following:: **Important**: Leo's binary Windows installer sets file associations automatically, so this section is needed only if you are installing Leo from a .zip file or other sources. One more (debatable) topic. Matt proposed three scripts in the following threads:: - Leo script to register .leo files with Windows. - Leo script to set .leo association (Windows). - Leo script to (almost) set .leo filetype icon I am not wild about distributing such scripts. The scripts themselves are prone to bugs, and we will then have several more confusing options for newbies. I understand the desire to automate the process, but imo that is what the binary installer is meant to do. YMMV, and I'm open to discussion on this point.
