Should that be "<|a-field-name|>"? Also, "Abbreviations" vs.
"Abreviations" (2 b's in the correct term).

Again, should be "{|{ and }|}".
Other than that, nice job. Hits all the points nicely.
I'd suggest a pointer to the useful PIM plugins, though. Such as
todo.py, stickynotes.py, bookmarks.py, and perhaps rss.py?
